How does Mosquito Control work and how is it applied on my property?
Pestbois Mosquito Guard barrier control service starts by using a backpack sprayer. This application technique delivers exceptional coverage to plant materials, under decks, around structures and throughout landscape foliage where mosquitos live. Our backpack sprayer applies fine misted droplets to each of these areas wrapping around the areas that are applied. This application provides instant knockdown as they contact mosquitoes as well as up to 21 day residual to keep any new mosquitoes away. As we explained below we also take two more steps in the process by using a growth regulator to prevent the spread of mosquitoes and a repellent to repel mosquitoes away.

What is the difference between the all natural and synthetic option
Pestbois offers both all-natural and synthetic control options. Both mosquito control options are liquid-based and sprayed with a power sprayer across the areas of your property. Our all-natural product consists of concentrated essential oils, mint, lemon, garlic oil, similar to the garlic you would use to cook with, but much stronger and more potent. The garlic is known to kill the larvae so our application approach is a bottle different. We also come more often with the all natural method as it does not have as long of a residual value.
Our synthetic barrier control product is our more widely used method in which is contains the low toxic synthetic form of pyrethrin, which is the natural by-product of the chrysanthemum flower. Although the idea behind a Pyrethrin is the bases of chrysanthemum flower it is not “all natural”, it is a low toxic.
Although mosquitoes are VERY annoying and can cause BIG problems, they are also very SMALL and fragile. Bottom line is that they don’t take as much to kill as other pests. This is why we can effectively use a low toxic application.
